Anti Bribery

Scandal and corruption are in the headlines every day. The Bribery Act 2010 came into force from 1 July 2011 and, for UK businesses, addressing bribery has become a bigger risk issue. It is going to be even more important for your company to demonstrate its commitment to conducting business fairly, honestly and transparently.

Whilst many companies are strengthening their anti-corruption policies and processes, it is prudent to support this with appropriate training to demonstrate that you have communicated the implications of the Bribery Act to your staff.

You need to demonstrate that you have a zero tolerance policy towards bribery and corruption. You can do this by explaining to staff how they can avoid being personally prosecuted by complying with the policies and procedures that you have introduced.

Contact us at info@rogerhope.co.ukfor details of a training course that will explain the Bribery Act to your staff and maintain your company’s reputation. It will emphasise your Anti Bribery Policy (we can help you to formulate one if you wish) and link it to other relevant policies.

The two-hour interactive course, and its workbook, can be branded for your company and will:

  • explain the Bribery Act
  • define what is considered to be a bribe
  • explore how hospitality may break the law
  • explore the principles to follow to minimise the risk of falling foul of the Bribery Act
  • emphasise a zero tolerance approach and the link to other policies
